感恩节火鸡特赦

闭上眼睛

正要做最后的祷告

却听到一声大叫

“特赦！”

它赶紧把伸得长长的脖子

缩了回来

睁开眼睛一看

闪个不停的镁光灯下

自己竟成了

万众瞩目的明星

当然更大的明星

是总统先生

带着那样一种悲天悯人的表情

静静地站在那里颌首微笑

象极了一位慈祥的老祖父

这样的人

它死也不信

会无端挑起

血腥的伊拉克战争

它因此暗暗发誓

将日夜用只有上帝才听得懂的语言

为人类特别是总统先生感恩祈福

在禽流感降临之前
