当战争爆发

当战争爆发

我无可奈何

我不能把交战双方的手扼住

让他们不互相撕杀

当瘟疫流行

我无可奈何

我不能一手掐死病毒

让它不夺走我们同胞的生命

当腐败成风

我无可奈何

我不能一声呵住贪污的官员

让他们清正廉洁

我忏悔

我是个无用的人

我痛苦

我是个软弱的人

我痛恨

我是个无可奈何的人

When war breaks out

When war breaks out

I could do nothing to stop it

I could not hold back their wrists

And don’t let them fight each other

When plague breaks out

I could do nothing to stop it

I could not use my hand to slaughter the viruses

And don’t let them kill our men

When corruption breaks out

I could do nothing to stop it

I could not shout out at them

And don’t let them corrupt

I claim that

I am a useless man

I admit that

I am a powerless man

I hate that

I could do nothing to survive myself
