一个亮于白昼，

一个明于夜里；

一个已自西去，

一个才于东方升起。

阴阳相吸，

于此间，

竟成一种

悖理。

纵有天赋神力，

也拉不拢

这半个地球的

距离。

THE SUN AND THE MOON

HE shines by day,

And SHE lights by night;

HE sets in the west,

And then, SHE rises in the east.

Here, the affinity

Between HE and SHE

Seems to be

An absurdity.

Even the powers above

Cannot turn the distance

Half around the earth

Into nothing.
