Standing at the edge

of a glass smooth lake,

under a creamy starlit sky.

Reflections on the waters surface

show the travels

of her life.

preparing, her past

to meet. Confidence

steps in the cool water

as small ripples

change the scenes.

Silky softness laps at

hot skin, enveloping the fever

of her soul. Washing all

the tears away, as she

continues to sink

lower.

Lying on the sandy bed,

new visions come to light,

of all who will shed tears

of pain at the stop of

her crying.

Floating to the surface,

shaking loose the frigid past,

filling lungs with fresh dreams…

Walking in a new moons

glow…she found her

path at last.
