Tell Me, How to Cleanse (By Anna Yin - Canada)

the night, a canvas sprayed by ink.

I wash it with my dark hands,

failing to disinter my jasmine feeling.

Above the tree tips,

between gray and dark,

I rub it hard—

The emerging star light

is too weak to sparkle.

Along the dim sky's rim,

an angel rinses her moonlight dress;

I, sleepless,

bleach time-fleeting shadow--

no trace returns.

洗不出素馨的心情。

在树霄之上，

灰暗之间，

用尽搓，

一点点星光，

如此之弱，

看不到它们擦亮

的火花。
