No One Knows Where I Went

Swinging from a star,

catching the tail of a comet,

dreaming or awake,

flight of soul

on a lonely night.

Sliding around the rings of Jupiter

in a purple hazy sky,

running from myself,

afraid of the light.

Hiding behind the moons glow,

in the dark velvet fantasy,

falling up,

out of the black hole,

gliding behind the scenes.

Never to be found again,

heart safe from

prying eyes.

Pain is lost in atmosphere,

floating around in space.

Soul now like

a mirrored ghost,

can’t be seen by light of day.

No one knows where I went,

hiding in heavenly

display.
