無言獨上西樓，月如鉤。寂寞梧桐，深院鎖清秋。

The moon looks like a hook.

With the lonely Chinese parasol,

The deep backyard locking the cool autumn in.

Scissor’d, but not sever’d,

Put in order, yet in disorder,

Is the parting sorrow;
