你好。我参加了意大利杜伊诺城堡国际诗歌大奖赛。近日组委会给我寄来一封英文信。恳求你帮我翻译，谢谢！书信如下：

Dear Friend,

thank you very much for your poem.

If you want, you may send also a photo, taken by yourself, that you consider particularly revealing about social or historical aspects of your country in relation with the topic of the competition (Light shadow) or related with your poem.

(PLEASE NOTE: NOT YOUR PORTRAIT, BUT A PHOTO TAKEN BY YOU!!)

Deadline for sending photo is 2010 Januray 15th

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

sending a picture is completely optional, IT IS NOT RELEVANT FOR THE POETRY COMPETITION.

The poems will be judged independently on the photos. The photos will be not given to the jury of the poetry competition.

NO PRIZE IS FORESEEN FOR THE BEST PHOTOS BUT an exhibition of the best photos will be mounted during the events related to the Competition (prise-giving day, introduction to the public of the book of winners, presentation in schools or public cultural institutions). Your photo will be FREE exhibited, if it has been chosen, ONLY UNDER YOUR PERMISSION.

All photos will be published in a web photogallery. If you don’t want that your photo is published, please let it know.

Please send photo in jepg format as attachment to an E- Mail with the following declaration:

E-Mail,

Title of the photo,

Statements:

I declare that the photo is my original work, and is unpublished.

I give my permission to its possible exhibition only during the events related to the International Poetry Competition Castello di Duino.

I declare that I have not / I have (please choose one or the other option) subscribed to SIAE nor to any other similar Societies, which protect copyrights.
