[Life] Self-discipline: My Only Way to Grow

Self-discipline is the core of all my growth. Without extreme self-discipline, I would not have today's achievements. Whether in work, hobbies, or every detail of life, I adhere to extreme self-discipline as my principle and hold myself to strict standards. This discipline is not just a habit; it is the core driving force behind my ability to break through myself and achieve cross-border accomplishments.

1. Self-discipline during high school: from 600 meters to ten kilometers

Back in high school, my physical condition was poor; I couldn't even run 600 meters. To pass the graduation exam, I forced myself to wake up every morning at dawn to train. In the end, not only did I pass the 1500-meter running test, but I also gradually turned running into a habit. Every day at five in the morning, I would run ten kilometers and then swim for an hour, without stopping. This extreme self-discipline in training strengthened my body and made me realize that human limits are far beyond what I had imagined.

2. Early Morning Learning in Melbourne: From Language Barriers to Fluent Expression

In 1989, I came to Melbourne to study. Most of the international students around me slept until noon, while I got up every morning at eight-thirty to start my day of studying. My spoken English was very poor, so to quickly adapt to the environment, I tuned all the TVs and radios to pure news channels, listening, repeating, and imitating over and over again. To improve my typing speed, I practiced for two hours every day on a mechanical typewriter I found at a flea market. While others spent their time socializing and relaxing, I dedicated all my time to studying. This extreme self-discipline in my learning allowed me to break through the language barrier in a short period, laying a solid foundation for my future work and life.

3. Tai Chi and Self-Discipline in Life: From Self-Learning to Self-Creation

In 2001, I began practicing Tai Chi. Without a master or guidance, I relied solely on self-study and continuous practice. For over a decade, regardless of the weather, I practiced every day and eventually created my own sword technique—“Dragon Shadow Mysterious Sword.” This is not only a physical training but also a tempering of will, a testament to extreme self-discipline. Tai Chi is not just a martial art; it is also a philosophy of life that helps me maintain inner peace and focus amidst the busyness of work and life.

4. Daily routine after 2019: From 4:45 AM to the morning by the sea

Since 2019, I have adjusted my daily routine to the extreme, resting around 9 PM every night and waking up at 4:45 AM, arriving at the beach at 5 AM sharp to practice martial arts and play guitar. Day after day, without fail. Extreme self-discipline is not just about time management; it is a comprehensive exercise for the body, mind, and willpower. This extreme schedule not only keeps me full of energy but also allows me to find the best state for creation and reflection in the tranquility of the early morning.

5. Extreme Self-Discipline in Work and Life: From Cross-Boundary to Breakthrough

Whether in work or life, I adhere to the principle of extreme self-discipline. From starting a printing company in 1992, to founding the quarterly magazine "Australian Rainbow Parrot" in 2005, and then developing an intelligent logistics system in 2013, the success of each project is inseparable from my strict management of time and unwavering commitment to goals. Extreme self-discipline has allowed me to break through simultaneously in multiple fields, achieving a leap from zero to peak.

6. The Combination of Extreme Self-Learning and Extreme Self-Discipline

Almost all of my work and hobbies are a result of extreme self-learning (see the "Extreme Self-Learning" chapter for details). From fingerstyle guitar to traditional Chinese painting, from printing technology to software operation, from Tai Chi martial arts to website design, I have never relied on external systematic training; instead, I have gradually mastered the core skills of each field through self-study and practice. Without extreme self-discipline, I would not have my cross-disciplinary abilities, nor would there be the birth of 16 original scientific concepts. The world is not lacking in smart people; what it lacks are those who are disciplined to the extreme, and this is the fundamental reason why I can surpass AI and most people.

Conclusion

Extreme self-discipline is the core philosophy of my life, allowing me to break through myself and achieve cross-border accomplishments in every field. As I proposed in "The Ultimate Cross-Border Champion," extreme self-discipline is not just a habit, but a lifestyle that transcends oneself and breaks limits. It enables me to maintain resilience and focus through countless challenges, ultimately shaping the person I am today.
