MESSAGE FROM THE HON. MORRIS IEMMA MP

  PREMIER AND TREASURER OF NEW SOUTH WALES

　

I have great pleasure in sending greetings and congratulations to Aust Cai Hong Ying on the second anniversary of the publication of its quarterly magazine.

　

This magazine has already shown its value in presenting Australian Chinese culture to the world, promoting cross-cultural communication and providing an avenue for publication for international writers. It is one of a growing number of ethnic language publications serving our communities.

　

It is widely acknowledged that the contribution of the Chinese community in all areas of Australian life has been decisive. New South Wales has benefited from economic and trade associations with China that have been forged with the support of the Chinese community. Cultural links, such as this publication, are equally important in furthering our friendly relations.

　

On behalf of the New South Wales Government, I congratulate Aust Cai Hong Ying on the second anniversary of its publication and extend best wishes for future activities.
