He had
me stand out in the yard,
said the
sun glinting off my hair
made him
smile.
Dancing
to and fro across the
marked
off length
of soft
green grass as he watched.
Hands
raised overhead
in the
gentle spring breeze
I
repeated this dance
over and
over again.
Every
single time I went into the house,
he
called me back out again.
Damned
old clothesline is such a
possessive replacement
for my
long lost
dryer.
Sigh,
Whirlpool
I miss
you so! |
